What Is Muscle Energy Technique?
𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 (MET) is a form of manual therapy that has been around since the 1940’s. It uses short, medium effort contractions of a muscle/muscle group, followed by a brief period of relaxation and a subsequent 30-second lengthening phase.
