When you book your first session at Strive Holistic, it’s important to choose the right session length to get the most from your treatment. Each first session includes a 15-minute assessment, followed by hands-on therapy. Knowing how your time is divided will help you make the best choice for your needs.
The Assessment: Setting You Up for Success
Your first visit will start with a 15-minute assessment. During this time, you’ll discuss your health history, any current discomforts, and past injuries. This is a crucial part of the process, as it helps us understand the root causes of your concerns and allows your therapist to tailor your treatment for the best results.
Choosing the Right Session Length
60-Minute Session
Ideal for: A single area of concern, like neck tension or lower back discomfort.
What to Expect: After the initial assessment, you’ll have 45 minutes of hands-on massage therapy, focusing on your main area of concern. If your discomfort is localized, this session should offer enough time for relief and relaxation.
75-Minute Session
Ideal for: Two related areas, such as tight shoulders and upper back.
What to Expect: You’ll have 60 minutes of massage after the assessment, giving your therapist time to address both areas more thoroughly. This session is perfect if you’re dealing with multiple interconnected issues that need a bit more attention.
90-120 Minute Session
Ideal for: Complex concerns, such as chronic pain, trauma recovery, or multiple areas needing attention.
What to Expect: With 75-105 minutes of therapy, this extended session allows your therapist to spend more time on each issue, working through the layers of tension or discomfort. This option is recommended if you have several areas to address or need a more in-depth treatment for long-standing issues.
How to Decide What’s Best for You
Short and Focused: If you have one primary concern or a small area of discomfort, the 60-minute session will give you the attention you need.
Multiple Areas: If you’re dealing with more than one area of concern, consider booking a 75-minute session for a balanced approach.
Comprehensive Care: For complex or chronic issues, or if you need attention to multiple areas, a 90-120 minute session will ensure that no area is rushed.
